Todays issues with Finances

Doesn't it seem like things are not getting any better yet. I keep talking to people and their biggest issue right now is do we pay our mortgage this month or not. do we let it go or put food on the table and keep the electricity on. These are questions everyone one is dealing with right now. So am I. I don't know if we can keep borrowing money to pay the mortgage and really I don't know if we should.  You see we are upside down we owe more than the house is worth. I have heard way pay on a bad loan. The current problem is that we are all needing help but the banks refuse to help the ones who are trying so desperately to stay current on their mortgage. They are all saying we can't help you unless you are 30 to 60 days behind on your mortgage. Well what about our credit we don't want to mark up our credit because that is another issue on it's own. So what is one to do? Well I see it as well if you can pay your mortgage pay it on the last day of the month. So that the bank sees that you are having issues paying.  Maybe then they might talk to you.
