First Birthday's

 Boy does the first year of life go by so fast. It seems like just a few months ago my son was born. It must have been all of those sleepless nights for the first 6 months. Boy did I feel like a zombie. I can't believe that I now have to plan for my son's First Birthday. Where did the time go? I guess when you have your second child or more it just fly's by because you have other children to take care of. You don't have the luxury of just sitting and watch your new baby just sleep or spend hours just playing with them as they learn new things.
Well now what do you do for a First Birthday party when money is tight. I guess you just have family over for some cake and ice cream. Take lots of pictures or video so you have the memories. There are so many people that I know that had a huge get together with jumping castle, or a balloon person, lots of food and activities. But I think that is just crazy! The child is only one and how are they going to handle all of that activity. I like the sweet and simple. Besides they are not going to remember or care about all that stuff.
